2000 V70R - E-brake shoe thickness?

Any idea what the parking brake material thickness should be? AWD vehicle.

Still have about 4-5mm on the shoes.

Wondering as I have it in bits, should I replace anyway (car will be up for sale in a few weeks) and don't won't to spend any more money, but also want a clear conscience!

That sounds pretty close to new, IMHO. Just adjust them in nicely (I think on the 2000 you adjust inside the wheel first, through the brake drum holes, and then at the lever only if needed.

Check if the brake holds after adjusting. The adjustment should take care of slight wear. Lubricate the pivot points with anti-seize but your measurements sound okay.

Thanks guys. That's what I thought. Will carefully check for delamination of the shoe braking material as I've had an issue with a couple of AWD Volvos. Not sure if that is a problem with FWD also.
