01' V70 T5 no start after changing out coil packs
I'm at a loss here! This is my second volvo has been more of an adventure all the time. I love driving this car when it's working properly. There has been a consistent problem of throwing misfire codes and continuous fuel and air metering. Have been working my way through this car steadily upgrading and cleaning it up. So being that this car is new to me but has 95k and no background on the car. I decided to change out spark plugs clean things up, goes back together smooth fires up and drove around for a bit, cem goes out and stays out for weeks then right back on. So I decided to go ahead and change out the coil packs, but it will not fire at all now seems strange but I decided that I would put the old ones back in and no still no go. Don't understand how all the sudden there is no spark. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take the top plastic cover off the engine and make sure you haven't trapped a wire under one of the bolts, the plastic conduit that is supposed to hold the wires in bundles crumbles laving the wires susceptible to getting trapped and shorted out when putting the cover back on.
Also are you 100% sure you have put the connectors back on the coil packs in the correct order?
Finally what plugs have you put in the engine? - Mike

I do remember that wire had been pinched before and was wanting to re insulate them if one of those wires does get grounded out what damage will it do?

Potentially it wil blow a fuse or worse still it can take out the engine computer. Is the lack of spark still the problem?

It's been a few days since I have done anything with my car, been working and couch studying because I don't have another car and it's I long commute. However I scanned the codes and have a new one p 0204 . I have tried looking for what it is but cant find it in the code section here. If it is not obvious, this is my first post here and I'm not in my right mind having this car be down. Any help would be great.

If you are getting both coil and Fi problems a common point of problem would be the wiring under the spark plug cover. The coil bolts also need to make good grounds to work correctly, take off all the 10mm nuts, clean amd re tighten.
Take off all the fuel injector electrical connectors, clean and reconnect too.
