'93 245 transmission oil leak

My 93 245 is leaking transmission fluid around the pan. The pan looks simple to take off. Is it? Any tips on replacing the gasket and filter?

Not exactly sure about a 93, but I was involved with an 81 245. My pan wouldn't just drop due to the cross piece. I believe we had to raise the motor. While you are into that job make sure that all other leaks, seals, are taken care of while you have everything apart.

Ignore my earlier post- I was thinking of the oil pan, that is a problem to drop. The trani should be no problem. My dip stick spout nut was frozen to the pan so everyone just took off the pan and the stick mounting. I cut that stick housing and drilled a drain hole in the pan. My screen was very clean after 50K miles, so I just drain now and change the screen less often.
