2004 XC70 P2111 Throttle Actuator Control System

My buddy has this issue and the scan with his OBD2. Haven't had time to put in Vida Dice yet. He pulled TB and it was terrible...cleaned it up and issue persisted.

Q: Is this talking the TB or the pedal assemble...as I'm assuming it may be fly be wire,no?

Throttle, not accel pedal sensor code. It is the one for throttle detected open more than the desired amount. Usually a potentiometer or wire connector issue. On that car the throttle unit connector is problematic over 125K miles. Best fix is 6 wire leads with terminals and connector housing to replace the one on it now. The terminals have been improved. If the connector is unplugged and the pins and terminals are cleaned and dielectric grease applied it might take care of it for a while. If it fixes it for a few thousand miles then you have confirmed the connector is it.
