Belt tensioner has a torx type adjuster instead of nut what a crappy design!
I am still having a hard time getting belt on power steering etc. when engaging the tensioner what next?
Thanks

I had to find the flatest breaker bar in town, with the shortest torx 'socket', then really crank that thing forward, have one of the kids hold it in tension while I wrestled the belt on. Best advice I have (flat breaker bar, short torx socket, someone else to hold tension on the breaker bar). Regrets, and yes, I concur (is anyone at Volvo reading this?) the design change stinks. Happy Motoring!

I got something like this wrench on sale for like 20 bucks, works like a charm for the belt tensioner. If the tensioner is fully released, the belt should slide with one finger over the p/s pulley.
