94 850 turbo vs a 98 v70 turbo

I have a 94 850 turbo wagon its a nice car but has seen better days. It has 163,000 and it will need a timing belt water pump and tensoner this summer. ABS and tracs dont work and I have tried all of the suggestions here no one does a 94 control module. I recently lost a key and cant find any one to make a new key is it a dealer only thing? Anyway I have found a 98 v70 with 130,000 that is at the blue book price unless I can get her lower. Is there a substancial difference between the 94 and the 98. Like HP, handling , comfort, and most importantly reliability. thanks for any and all answers.

Try 23,000 miles ago...don't delay on the timing belt. It breaks and so does your car and your wallet. ABS? Only option on your car is to change it out for a good used one unless you want to pay dealer prices. www.erievovo.com is your friend (call, don't write).

Thanks I will try to give them a call and seeIf they have a used one. I have been waiting for the weather to break to try and do it my self and see how it goes. thanks for the reply.

abs and tracs don't work? who cares?? just change the timing belt and tensioner ASAP (and probably the aux. belt) and your good to go for, what, 100 bucks? is the water pump bad? i wouldn't change it unless it was leaking or making noise. save that money for something that's broke.

that 98 v70 has only a couple less miles than your 850! you could probably find one with 75- 85 k if you looked for a little while.

YeahI need to get it done Im just lacking alittle confidence in doing it. Where is the best place to get the tensoner and the belt from.
