1996 volvo 850 GLT oil dip stick milky color but oil isent

Can any one tell me if they have had this problem snd what they did tp fix it thanks

Frequent short trips are the culprit. Moisture condensing in the oil doesn't have a chance to be driven off by heat if you don't get the car up to operating temp and keep it there for a while. Take a couple back to back half hour highway jaunts and tells us if you still notice the dip stick goop. I'm betting not.

+1 on this. It is also worse where the air is damp and cold as moisture forms more easily. Clean it off and take the car for a good long run. It will also dry your muffler system out too.
