the 5 set ngk bkr6eix spark plugs were 40 pound on ebay including sending cost.
2 meter of gates 6mm benzine hose, 5 euro a meter, replaced the yellow blue vacuumlines.
They were quite perished and i had the access now, so..

Old distributor and rotor had heavy burn in. Both bosch.
I'll come back on the plugs.
Old and new. Quite interested wat is in it now actually.

I finnaly got my new plugs!
So i took mine out And found a brand and type i had never heard of.
Its the eyquem rfn58lz. I can only find polish and french reviews. Both are not my strongest languages
They look like they have a gap of almost one mm.. So it was really time.
Colour of burning looks quite good though.
Anyone know of these?

you can clearly see they are well at their end.
I found they are used in french cars a lot. Like Citroen and peugeot.
And they are very cheap. 2,50 euro cheap..
They are in the order how i took them out btw. Right is the passenger side Of the engine.

So I drove almost 500km with my new NGK BKR6EIX spark plugs and I am happy to report they work absolutely great!!
It is a world of difference with the old ones.
Much more low end torque. The whole powerrange feels more balanced. No more of the hickups I was having with the old plugs. And I am really happy they actually were the reason for that.
My average gas mileage went down from 10.8 litre to 10 in as little as 200km without even resetting it or worrying about speed, etc.
The feel of more torque is great. This is my first volvo turbo and now it finally goes like it should.
A good friend of mine has a chipped VW Golf 5 R32, 4motion with 280hp and he actually had to work to keep up to someone for a change. We did a nice over 200km/h / 120mls/h run for some time.
The German Autobahn is close to his house
No problems.
It amazes me everytime how comfortable the car still is then.
Just need some new rubbers in the drivers side door though. The Wind was howling a bit.
Anyway.
So if anyone wants to change their plugs on a 2 liter 850 turbo; the B5204T
I would definetely recommend these NGK's.
They are actually recommended by different spark plug sites for the newer b5204t(2 or 3) in newer volvos like s60 s80, x70xc etc. So they just had to be good in the older ones like ours.
The copper ones; BCPR6EIX, will probably work just as great, but will last about half a long and should probably be regapped halfway.
Thanks for the info again!
