So she's all together and no check engine light. I did to the rear seals, which was easy at this point so hoping it all holds together. No leak from water pump and no check engine. I did flush the coolant and went with original Volvo antifreeze. The old stuff was yellow so not sure what it was but I did a good flush. putting the bracket on the rear was a true pita with all the vacuum hoses and whatnot there....
So all in all not bad, like you say read instructions that are out there and take your time doing this. Everything I did was documented well and forums are awesome, no way I'd do this on "my own". I made a cool little seal press for the seals that worked well. Like some say, I think the press is essential as it gave complete control of depth and speed. Maybe I'll pose picture if I get to it.
Best lesson learned is to buy proper tools, take your time and use forums when stumped. Thanks all, now I'm ready to do this on my 195k v70 later this year.
