Thank you for the links reference TPS. In the one paragraph it has this statement;
"This switch is a simple device: at either extreme of motion, an internal switch is closed and you will see continuity between one outer connector and the middle ground connector. Disconnect the switch connector and jump from one side connector to the middle ground connector. If idle returns to normal, then the switch is at fault. The switch is not repairable."

So, I am reading this to say .. at idle throttle closed the TPS switch should have continuity between the outer pin and middle pin and when throttle is open the switch should go to open ..... Am I reading this correct? in this test they are telling me that if you jumper the connector itself idle should be normal .. that tells me the switch at idle MUST have continuity between the connections you are jumping on the connector ... Correct?

Echlin TS5566 would be the correct sensor for your car.

I found the original box. It is a FAE Part made in Spain and the # is 1346030

As of this mornings mail my new Bosch sensor has not arrived .. I have since put the old one in and it starts wayyyyy better then this FAE Sensor ...

It may be the sensor, or it may be a wiring issue

Thank you. If it does turn out to be a wiring problem where do this two sensor wires go? I could always run two new wires.. couldn't I ?

Always examine the index, and list of components, at the back, and the topic headings in front.

See page 25 (pdf: 31), at the extreme lower right bottom; item 4/10

And page 35 (pdf: 41)....item 4/10
