1993 850glt ecu unit installation
I am a volvo owner/fan. Have had many over the years, I prefer the 1996 and older. I currently own a 1993 850glt and have been told the middle ecu needs replaced. It has been sitting for a few months. I am hoping that by charging the battery, putting the ecu back into it and hooking up the battery my baby will run again. She has low miles and a lot of life left in her. Anyone have any advice on how to install this correctly? Any info would be appreciated.

It's not necessarry to disconnect negative battery cable for ecu installation/removal.Just wait about 10-15 minutes after turning the engine off in order to wait for master injection relay to shut itself off.
What is necessary...keep the key away from ignition lock when you remove or install ecu.
