I'm not crazy about genies in a can, but I have used this product on my previous car when all else failed and it worked! I believe it is the same premis, restores rubber doesn't plug holes.

I'm not crazy about them either. Thanks for your comments. I've used seafoam from time to time and nothing else, EVER.

I don't have bad leak, just a little valve stem seal leakage I think. I'm leaning towards putting in a bottle for a few weeks and then changing the oil. I tried changing to "older car" oil and it helped a little, but didn't make a big difference.

I think AT-205 is a solvent and while it may help renew the seals it may also reek havoc with the aluminum block and other aluminum parts so I would want it in the system only for a short time.

Someone said the minimum time was listed on the bottle, but that's not so. I took a look the other night and there is no information about how long it takes to work. I think they just recently changed the label.

New box (not bottle ) says - "If leaks persist after 5 hours consult a professional".

I called them - same product - new bottle and label. They simplified the label so it was more customer friendly. Only thing that takes close to five hours is a rear main seal - per them.

You're right! After scrutinizing the box I found it.
