I love my Satellites but they are in desperate need of refinishing

Let us know what happens.

Just an update as finally got round to taking these to a tyre shop and all four wheels are OK, ready to go on and I also got a new Grille for the S70 so just need to get these wheels cleaned up and can get rid of my wheel trims :-)

Hi,

That looks like the definition of "Nice Wheels" :-)

If the surface does not mate with the tire rubber properly you end up with slow leaks. A friend of mine had this problem and had to buy four new wheels.

Is there any significant benefit to alloy wheels other than appearance?
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.

I asked the guy at the tyre shop and he said just to clean up the inside with a wire brush as he said they looked OK and has seen much worse condition wheels which never leak as they put in a paste anyway, but as for alloy wheels I don't think there is any benefit other then appearance...but it would be nice to have the S70 "complete" and looking as near to original condition as possible.

Although I know this model originally had size 15 wheels and not these turbo ones.
