2005 xc70 central locking

Hi again has any body had this happen ,as I have said before my wife has a xc90 d5 and we also have a xc70 d5 ,the other day both cars were parked about three feet apart and for some reason both cars would not lock with the remote only with the key ,after replacing the battery in both and trying the spare keys with no luck I thought there was a problem ,but my wife informed me that she had the same problem the day before but when she went to work the remote was fine .After some thought I moved one car away from the other ( 20 metres )and low and behold both cars remote worked fine I can only think that if they are close to one an other there is a issue again your thoughts thanks Phil.

Spoke to a friend who worked at Land rover and he said that they had trouble with Range rovers when they went to filling stations which had mobile phone masts ,the cars would be ok until they switched them off then they would not start until they were moved 20 yards from the mast ,also when moving cars on the forecourt they could only take one key (remote ) at a time as if they took more than one the car which they were trying to move would think it was being stolen ,so it is possible that these two Volvos have the same issue because when they are not near one an other they work fine .
