1999 P80'seats.....they rock!

The design and manufacture of my 1999 V70'seats are the Eighth wonder of the Universe,

I just did 650 miles of appointments, installs, conference in one day, made it home for dinner, and this morning feel like I haven't been in a car.

I'm 6-1, 220 and puffy in the usual places.

I like taking the P2 on cruises but SWMBO has decided the P2 seats are nicer than the BMW, plus she gets more " Stacis Mom" comments driving a stick, so the P2 has become a distant memory for me.

Those are the real reason I stayed with Volvo all these years

I am 6' 6" and the last volvo I owned I took all the seats out of it and made them into furniture. One of the most comfortable car seats

I'll throw my .02 in for being great seats. Never really thought about it before, but never been a problem, so that's why it never came up. At 100 miles, at least a day, they work.

aren't they the same as the 1994-1998 seats? just leather ? Or is the 99 the SE seats with the meshy plastic stuff?

I was talking about the leather seats. Even though the leather CAN go bad, they still feel good. They hug you like a daughter wanting money.

6'-2" with a bad back and underweight for my height, so I don't get comfortable in any car except a Volvo. Either they engineered a lot of ergonomics into these seats, or got really lucky in getting it right.
