'94 850 Turbo-Hesitation/Weak Accel. Under Light Throttle

How would the throttle cable affect this? I am willing to give anything a shot at this point, but I am curious what would get gummed up since all this does is actuate the throttle body.

I think he meant PO into the TB, not on the cable.
Cleaning the TB is a good idea in any case.
