99 V70 Removal of 'dead foot rest" part 9132550

Thanks for trying. The bottom pin has a plastic part sticking out at 90 degrees and that keeps it from coming out clean. My floor mat covers the foot rest, so until I order something, it will remain as is.

Did you noticed how bad the area to the left of the rest was? It was all messed up. Well I used what I had to add a little patch. Thought about replacing the entire area, but that rubber bottom goes under the steering wheel.

I thought that, too. It has that little curve at one end. Probably a good way to remember it is that you push it the opposite direction of the curve.

Looks like me and JB are going to put things back together. It's something simple to play with. I need simple.

If you can find a piece of wood dowel to JB weld inside that it will be a lot stronger
