99 S70 Base. Bad decision with aftermarket Radiator

How do those hose barbs fit into the radiator ? Are they straight threads or pipe threads? Given that's it's brass into plastic I hope they are straight threads. Some Teflon tape or sealer might help there

You could even epoxy them in with a tiny amount of epoxy ( just barely coat the threads in a circle on one place on the first few threads)

ashlee2319 is not using a barb at the radiator, rather a barb coupler to spice two hoses together, I think.

Yeah, cancel my advice on threaded barb fittings...or as Roseanne rosannadanna would say...

Coolant level is still fine. Nevermind i guess.

The barbed coupler had a male end and just screwed right in.

Ohhhhhhh...abscate was right after all....

Where are they leaking?? Radiator Fitting or Barb connector??

Never mind - just read that they arent leaking after all..

Those hoses look to be ripped apart rather than cut. Keep in mind that the hose will only seal as well as the ends are.

It was weird. It was leaking coolant from the top cooler connection, then it stopped. I had to cut those hoses in the dark with a flash light in my mouth, I know they're not the greatest. I will probably redo them when the weather cools down. To about 105.

Very typical. The junk I the coolant sealed the holes in the leak. Don't touch it and it will be fine
