2006 S80 has 300K. worth Buying it?

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

2006 S80 has 300K. worth Buying it?

So I was looking for a car and saw a 06 S80 2.5T with about 300K on it. They're asking 1500. I really want to pick it up I have an 850 NA and just want something faster. After reading for about 4 hrs and seeing all the problems relating to the car, i'm still on the fence.

Is this the correct combo of tranny and engine? Some people were saying that since this was the last production year all the kinks must have been worked out. I'm going to check it out after our Long Weekend.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated? :D Thanks!

My 2006 S80 2.5 has been one of the best Volvos I've own.

06 s80 2.5T has a great track record. But great track record doesn't mean a 300K mile car is not risky. Be sure they spent lots of money maintaining it. Ask for receipts.
