Muffler/Pipe/Exhaust for 04 S60R, Too Loud!

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

Muffler/Pipe/Exhaust for 04 S60R, Too Loud!

Post by alexk243 »

So the previous owner of my 2004 Volvo S60R straight piped the exhaust (no cat, no muffler, no resonator). It sounds ok... but is way to loud for city driving. I still want the awesome sounds on heavy accel, but it is way to loud on medium and low accel.

Looking for suggestions on some weld in/bolt in options such as a magnaflow muffler or something. Anyone have experience with this or suggestions on what to add to quit it a bit?

There's probably something in Volvo Exhausts VRD category.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!
