Introduction, I'm about to buy a 2002 V70 2.4T,

Hi everybody,

I'm rejoining the volvo world, after growing up with volvo's and taking a hiatus from them for about the past 10 years, it's time to sell my wife's gas guzzling Tahoe that we love, but we're going to buy an 02 2.4T with 78k miles. The car I'm considering is about 4 hrs from me, I'm in north alabama and the car is in Atlanta. Is there anything I should look for in particular? It is FSBO and he has all the service records. What kind of problems are the 02's prone too? I know the 01's had a bunch of electrical and tranny problems based on my research. However my research has led me to the conclusion that the 02's and on haven't had many problems. I would appreciate some input on what I need to look for when i go look at this car.

From '02 on the V70's just get better and better...I know of no real issues with these cars... Good luck and enjoy!
