First and foremost, my roof at the rear of the car is starting to come down. It looks like the previous owner tried to hold it up with velcro glued between the metal and the fabric roof. it seems like the latches that are used to connect them are broken. Any ideas as to how I should go about fixing it? It isn't the entire roof, it is just drooping an inch off. Just enough to leak water near the speakers when it rains.

Next, my radio does not want to display COdE to reset it. I disconnected the battery and reconnected it to reset the radio. I then let the car run for about 2 hours, yet it still only displays OFF and won't prompt for the code. I have my radio code. A month ago, I changed out the battery in the car. The battery that was previously in the car was too small, but ran the car regardless. I changed it because it went bad after sitting inactive for 4 months. Any ideas what may be wrong?

It is not uncommon for the radio to take three hours or more with the key on, uninterrupted, to go back to code. The book spec is two hours but I have had them take longer.

Obviously, you will need th correct code once you get back to the code prompt.

The headliner is a tougher one, the only real fix is to remove the seats and the panel and then re-cover it with new fabric. We have some tutorials in the repair database. The big problem with the headliner is that the foam under the fabric, being environmentally friendly, disintegrates and essentially turns to dust. You can try to cut a slit in the fabric and try to spray in some trim adhesive but that typically won't hold and it stains the fabric.
