1995 850 remote locking retrofit

Hi.
I'm sure this has probably been covered somewhere in the past but I cannot seem to find exactly what i wish to know. Newbie to Volvo 850's.
My 850 has central locking, but not wireless/remote.
I know I can fit aftermarket kits but I wanted to know what OEM Volvo items I need to collect to make it a factory system, and is it plug n play?
ie: is it just one or more modules that plug into a loom plug that is already there and then coding the fobs to match?
If its easy to go factory, whats involved in getting fobs to match? Is it a dealer only coding at a ridiculous price or is it something I can do myself?

you will need a module that mounts behind and beside the glovebox and a matching remote-I just threw out a half dozen of the modules so they are not expensive the remotes pop up on ebay for 20-50$ the two must be matching- there is an fcc code I think there are at least two different ones

Thanks for the fast reply.
If I were to pick up the module off ebay or from a wrecker, and then some fobs off ebay - how do I get them to match? Is it something I can do through some sort of sequence or is it a dealer procedure only?

A junk yard (Pick-N-Pull) receiver and the remote keyfob and you are in business. The connector for the receiver is in place next to the glove box, it mounts along the right hand A pillar.

There are two versions of the receiver. It doesn't matter which version you get but you must use the matching series remote keyfob for the system to work. The part number and FCC identifier is on a label on the receiver but it is not the big numbers, it is the small numbers that are usually under a piece of tape.
