Emissions System Service Required

'00 S80 T6.

What is this? It trips the check engine light as well and I can't seem to be able to reset it.

Is this a service reminder or does it indicate that there is something wrong?

Just bought the car, and the stealer is going to fix the issue, but if it comes again when the waranty is done, I'd just like to know WTF.

Something is up....if it's not fixed, your tool won't be able to turn off the code. My suggestion is to read the codes to see what's specifically up.

I've been trying to read codes...I have another post here.

Just wondering if it IS a problem or if it is just a service reminder.
