When I plug in my Scanner to read what the ABS light is on for it comes up with Pump error, I try to activate the pump with no success. ONLY the ABS light is on in the dash and I am able to turn the STC light on and off. Not that I know if it works but the light goes on and off when I push the button. I have not tested the cruise control yet. Anyway. Would be helpful if someone could point me in the right direction. Is it the "module" part of the abs unit that has gone bad? As what happens a lot with the S70-V70-C70 of 1998-2000??? The one that is mounted with inverted torx screws? If so, which units will fit and work on the STC equipped 2005 I am working on? I have a junkyard close by with quite a few V70 and S60s. What years work and do I have to check that the car has the STC button on the center of the dash. Is DSTC different?
Let me know
Dan

One thing that's rather common with P2 cars is the abs reluctor ring gets rusted (rust disrupts the abs sensor reading) or may even crack.
