Hi, I just went to get my car aligned and they said the back was frozen and that I would have to get the "rear control arm anchors" has anyone ever heard of that? When I search all I find are bushings for the control arm. They can't fix it, so they have nothing to make off it; just so you know. Thanks for any input I can get.
Oh, and if you know where I can get the part(s) please link me there. Ughhhh. I am going to have a new car before long.

I just had the same problem. The fix was not easy, but I didn't get new bushings, I just removed the transverse arm mounting bolts. Three of the four were corroded in place, effectively "freezing" the bushings in place.
I used an air hammer to remove all but one of the bolts, the last one I had to drill out. None of it was easy. Once the bolts were out the bushings were able to move. My advice would be to do one at a time to keep the bushings in place so the alignment doesn't get too far out of whack.
Here is the bolt I drilled out. I used a small bit along four sides, then a bigger one into the shaft of the bolt so the air hammer punch would seat well. An air hammer is pretty cheap and kind of fun.
I got the transverse arm mounting bolts at FCP if that helps. Bolt is part #985358 and the corresponding nut is part #3546077.

They showed me where the rod is supposed to be connected on both sides, one side is broke and the rod will not go in. In order to get it right I need to replace what almost looks like a rear ball joint assembly. Any ideas?
