98 V70 AWD unlocking issue

I've already read through a bunch of topics on this issue, but I couldn't find one that addressed exactly what is going on with my car.

All door locks work manually (by pulling on lock pins), and the driver's side door lock works by the key. All doors will lock when pressing the button, but only the driver's side doors will unlock when pressing the unlock button, or by double unlocking with the key on the outside. That's the odd thing, which I couldn't find in other topics; the all locks locking, but only some unlocking issue is puzzling to me.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

It takes more force to unlock so the PTC fuses are tripping, pretty common with our old locks.
