2008 S80 cover for console cup holder stuck

Ok, not a show stopper but the sliding cover over the front cup holders in the center console is sticking/stuck.
This is the one that rolls up and down like the antique roll top desks used to.

Any experiences on repair or replacement out there? It is an interesting point of failure as it has been left open most all of its 55,000 miles.
I am not discounting there being a missing iPhone being crammed in there... Or maybe the missing key fob?

Spray some wd40 in the edges or tracks.. It is a quick and dirty way of doing it, but, it will accomplish 2 things: lubrication and making you clean off the latte splash...
