power steering reservoir

Should there be a buildup of pressure in the reservoir? When I removed the cap to check the level it had a slight pressure built up.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I took the cap off of mine tonight immediately after driving 37 miles home and it had a slight pressure build up. I wondered the same thing.

Yes, after a run there is hot ATF, a little hiss is normal.
