V90 Tow install help...

After searching for a while, I'm satified that I found one of the few v90 wagons for sale. Are these cars that rare or that good that no one gets rid of them?

Please dont tell me that they're that bad? Its a 98 v90 with 147K. had the timing done at 100K. All service records going back to about 79K.

But my main question is where do I find the parts to install a tow hitch?

I've already found a ton of places that sell the hitch itself, but my main question is where to get the wiring harness so that I can connect it to my 4pin connector on my trailer.

i found one website that claims that you cant get the wiring harness anymore. If thats the case, where do I find a howto on doing it all myself?

I have no experience of this model but I did have a 960 and it was up to Volvo's usual high standard. After all, it is pre-1999 so it is a Volvo.

The wiring for your tow hitch is obviously different to that in the UK as we have a 7 pin plug. I have wired several of these myself using the trailer plug in the luggage compartment. It is really just a case of finding which wire is which. With a voltmeter or a test lamp it is fairly simple. By using the plug you bypass the problems of the bulb failure system.

I have found a tail light converter, which I think would do the job for you if you don't want the hassle of DIY.
