'04 XC90 2.5T AWD no start

So after being preoccupied with the issues of my S70, I went ahead had the XC90 towed to a Volvo repair shop here in Columbus, Ohio and there they confirmed a faulty starter problem. I am know going to be $680.00 plus tax poorer.

Wow, A Bosch starter motor is only $150. Pretty easy DIY.
Someone (aka dealer) is eating expensive lunch.

Damn that's crazy.. I try to do these repairs myself so that the ones I can't do don't hurt as bad.

I just took a wild and crazy risk of turning the engine on and drove the XC90 for a short trip around the neighborhood this morning and the no oil pressure message on the dash disappeared. After a few more minutes, it came back on again so I proceeded home and parked it on the driveway and waited 5 minutes. I restarted it again this time the no oil pressure light and message did not come on. I got excited and decided to go run some errands, gas, laundry and groceries. It was a nice feeling to be able to drive my XC again.
