Cabin Climate Temperature Sensor/Fan

Post by velorider »

Driving home yesterday I noticed warm air coming out of the passenger side vents. If I lower the password side temperature setting I get code air. If I set the driver and passenger side temperatures the same the passenger side it much warmer. Doing some searching I think the problem might be with the Cabin Climate Temperature Sensor. Recent when opening the door the little fan was making a lot of noise, now after this I noticed the fan no longer makes noise. I think it died.

The part is $150, so thoughts on how to test and confirm this is the problem? Or any other suggestion as to what might be wrong.

Try cleaning it with a vacuum flow first. They usually just gunk up with hair, dust, and detritus
