When car is in perfect condition it doesn't matter how old is it as long it's attractive.
Newer cars are not a guarantee that they are in better shape. They are mostly in bad shape with a lot of investment needed.
I would not trade neither of my cars for a newer models which needs some work and attention because both of my cars are in perfect condition.Factory condition.
How much would you pay for this car?

Totally correct misha, I see people with pretty new cars that treat them poorly all the time.
I think a majority of car owners never check the oil or water, probably do not even know how to.
I have no interest at all in a new car, unless Volvo wants to donate me the new XC90.

Greetings. If you really want to sell it, I think without redoing the bumper, you could get a decent price for it. Volvo owners/ buyers love to see car history on paper ( low offer). Non Volvo owners don't understand upkeep and maintenance ( asking price). You have paperwork to show potential buyers. Just remember, Income Tax Check Time !
If you are curious to what "Non Volvo owners " would give for it , put a sign on it and see. Park it somewhere decent (Walmart, Target or busy shopping area, business park) and let them show interest to you. Amazingly, people at this time of year will buy the most head scratching cars known to man. You have paperwork and given us the car flaws. Do this to anybody who has interest. If they buy with this info , Go In Peace.
Your car is a " lease return " compared to a lot of the cars I see with paper dealer tags this time every year. Good luck.
P.S. My daughter should have went to UT.

$2500, is about the upper range for an S70, no?
I saw a red Turbo stick someone in NYC was trying to sell for $5000 for a few months. And it wasn't even in half as good condition as yours... (I don't see it anymore on Craigslist so I'm thinking he either decided to keep it or found a buyert.) Bring it to NYC, there seems to be a decent market for these cars over here.
For example, this seller wants $2700 for his non turbo V70!

Whatever its value, nice job keeping your S70 in such beautiful condition!

I agree with the majority of the posters that say keep the car. Granted I am in Canada and it might be a completely different market (yes I did the miles to km math) I do think the car is worth $2500. But when buying used I think there is a huge difference between what a car is actually worth and what someone will pay for it. For me buying a used car is always a gamble, so I try to buy alot lower then what it is worth. If I think the car I am buying is worth $2500, I don't want to pay more then $2000 for it. But If I were you I would buy the s60 and try an sell the s70 for $2500 with every expectation it might take awhile to sell

Well, I appreciate all the compliments on the car. I was at the junkyard yesterday and picked up an XC grille, really gives it a more sporty look, and on Monday the front bumper is getting painted. Why? well because the s60 t6-r in Dallas was sold, so until I find another one I want, I'm going to take pride in my car.
