Are there any tricks to this, there don't appear to be. Have no real reason to do it other than as a maintenance urge. Should I bother? 200+k miles, turbo rebuilt once, I thought it might be on the way out again but doesn't appear to be, so I will leave it alone. Replaced the wastegate (fixed the overboost cut off problem) 5 psi to prime it, replaced all vacuum lines with silicone, BCV is good, car runs great now and looking for something else to do in there. Leave line alone? Or replace for peace of mind? Would use genuine Volvo if I went for the repair. Thanks for advice.

Well, it wouldn't exactly be a repair if it is not broken. I'd save my money for when something else will break, and since it is as old as mine, you know something will break.

Unless they are broken (or bent up after the front end collision on my donor motor) I don't mess with them but any time I have a turbo off I replace the copper washers, top and bottom, on the banjo bolts. I've never heard of an oil line problem other than the leaky O ring and gasket on the oil return line.
