Bilstein Touring Strut - Do they need to be unlocked at the start
Bilstein Touring Strut - Do they need to be unlocked at the start
I just put in a pair of Bilstein Touring Struts and it didn't feel like I had to turn the strut inner rod to unlock it. I just installed them per instruction and it felt like the inner rod would turn freely when they came out of the shipping box. Following the install and torquing every thing down, I'm getting a rattle out our of the front end post install and short drive around the neighborhood. I'm wondering the new struts needed to be unlocked and then let to extend to free play. Anyone have a definitive answer on this one? Thanks, Peter
