Coolant Flush/Citric Acid

The good news is with some judiscious tapping and going slow, I freed up the t40 screws that retain the tstat housing and replaced per Robert with some 7mm 1.00/30mm bolts. I pulled Tstat and from my Mercedes days, added water and Shout to degrease cooling system and after flushing Shout from system will follow up with a citric acid flush ( about a pound of food grade crystals) to system and water and will drive on this for about 20 minutes and then flush flush flush and then finally install new Volvo TStat (paid stupid money for this through stealership, wish I had planned better) add distilled water and Zerex HOAT G5 and not think about cooling for a few years . . so relieved that I did not have seized Tstat screws -

Oh, will also add Subaru Coolant Conditioner . . . good stuff!~
