2000 XC rear brake dust shield

I understand this is a discontinued item
Part #9157667. Are ther so few of these left on the road that it doesn't warrant producing the part any more?
Is the pick and pull going to be the only source?

I have searched everywhere to no avail. Any suggestions where there is a secret cache of these?

They are impossible to find new. The 2000 'R' are even more impossible. I eventually looked and got used, but they cost more than they were new as the labour to remove is high.

Best sources are West Coast like vandsautodismantlers near Sacramento or Chapman Motors on Vancouver island in Canada where I got mine. Normally they make a cut in them to bend them out to remove as you have to remove the rear hub to get them off. I'm not 100% on the XC, but the 'R' I am.

What side do you need? There was a good one last week on the LH side of a 2000 V70XC at PnP here in Calgary. RH side was toast.

I need both. I imagine any AWD 1998-2000 would work. I know where my old 98 is hiding and it still has an intact rear suspension.
Want to do wheel bearings. If I have it apart I am going to replace the backers. Existing is getting a bit thin. That's what happens on the east coast of you don't take care of things.
I know of one in Winnipeg that is being parted out. It is in great shape except for the cat and the driveshaft.
