Hey Everybody!
I am having quite a dilemma with my car, and I may have found the reason why its sputtering and not running like it should. I have noticed that some of the sensors and their wires aren't looking quite like they should. Almost all the wires on my sensors are nearly bare, and sensor #1 had a wire going to it, but the wire got cut and isn't connected to anything except the sensor.
Below is Sensor #1.

Does anybody know which sensor this is? I have taken off the plastic clip-on wire connector off of it. The white thing on the left is the oil filter, and the gray thing to the right is the alternator. This is below the exhaust manifold near the front of the car.
Next, we have two sensors.

I believe that the sensor mounted on the aluminum is the temperature sender for the temperature gauge next to the speedometer. The only thing I can think of for #3 is a knock sensor. Am I right? These are below the intake manifold, probably pointing to cylinders 2 and 3. I am certain that neither of these are coolant temperature sensors for the computer. I replaced the temperature sensor for the computer earlier today, and it is further back, near the firewall.
All help would be appreciated, especially if anybody could tell me where sensor #1 is supposed to connect. I looked down the wiring harness where all the other nearby wires go, but I didn't see any disconnected ones in there! Thanks!
