Found it.
These are the partnumbers mentioned on the volvo bill.
I have no vadis or something to check if these are really usable volvo partnumbers. but I guess so.
30731375: The 2 injector rubbers itself. Described as 1 set.
3528216: Spacerring. I guess these are the ones in the rail.
3528217: closingring. I guess these are the ones in the manifold.

One would think there is a direct correlation between rpm and engine revs.
"You keep saying this word RPM... I don't think this word means what you think it means..."
If the engine speed varies, then the engine's corresponding Revolutions Per Minute varies.
If you're talking about throttle position or vehicle speed, please provide a better description.

I think you mean that if you keep your foot steady on the throttle pedal the RPM fluctuates

In regard to the plastic ends on the injectors, I had fun finding them a few years ago. 2 companies supplied kits with different plastic rings but they both fit.

This company is called Dimar Motorsports. They appear to still be around.

and also try kirk at fiveomotorsports

Both companies were very helpful and great to deal with.

Also remember to replace the filters in the tops of the injectors. If I recall one of the kits supplied them. Be careful as there are 2 lengths of filter, and if I recall you can use the shorter one in place of the longer version, but not the other way around.

To remove the filters I used a self-tapping screw, but it is easy to damage them doing so. You are warned!

That is interesting.
I searched a bit for pictures of the injectors and its parts. And it shows what you are talking about yes.
I did not know the injector could or should be taken further apart. What is the benefit of this? And why replace the plastic cap? Isnt it just a cap?
The Volvo man did not tell me anything about this.

The fuel usage dropped a lot. Yesterday we were driving a steady 100km/h on the highway and it did it around 8L per 100km.
Without wind on flat road it even went close to 7L. Never ever seen those figures before. I did a 1400km trip (wich I do quite often) last summer with 100km/h on the cruisecontrol and it did it with 8.5L And I had to work hard to get it as low as that.
