It is worth reiterating that you should not even think about TDC when setting the timing on these cars, think about the crank mark. The connection to proper crank mark location and TDC is just a coincidence, timing is not set by TDC on these cars.

It is all about putting the crank mark to the proper location and keeping it there, then you can do what you need with the cams.

Maybe! I would like to think diligence and persistence paid off but maybe Marilyn's valves were spared by a higher power!
