Main Wire Shorted - Electrical question

What is considered the "main wire"? On a bill for unrelated repair I found a note from my mechanic: "main wire" is shorted. Vehicle: 2008 XC70.

Usually the 12 volt dc positive wire if talking about a sub circuit or the main battery cable if talking about the entire car.
