Parts Identification - Genuine Volvo

Post by mathy221984 »

Hey everyone,

I just received a timing kit in the post today and I noticed that the number that is on the box 31370440 is not the same number on the bag within the box which is 30777865.

The car it is to be applied to is a 2010/11 V50 1.6D DRIVe manual ENGINE# D4164T

Before I go any further in the change process, can anyone verify that there is not some mix-up with the box and the bagged components? In other words, do I have the right stuff?

Also, is Dayco really making belts for genuine Volvo Timing kits?

Regards,

Both numbers come up referenced for the same part- you should be good to go- and for your model number.
