Something to check if you have no boost and limping

Hi there,

A quick check if you have the symptoms of no boost-no rpm above 3k

Just thought i would update you on my lack of boost on the V50. I purchased a used Turbo boost solenoid and proceeded to fit, no probs removing the old one very easy job.......pulled the old one out and it appeared one of the electrical wires which plugs into solenoid had broken. It was just hanging on by the plastic sheaving.Sadly it had broke off right on the connector and left the tiniest bit of wire for me to play with.

Managed to make a work around with the wire until i can get a replacement connector. Put all back together and........FULL BOOST is back, and god it feels good.

I would strongly advise to check both wires, if it looks ok check for 12volts.
