Don't flush and check the plumbing cleanout.

I actully have the original Volvo Guard instruction manual that I opened earlier. It has the programming instructions. I just need to get a remote.

The place I bought the engine from may have the one from that car. I have the Volvo Guard instruction manual that came with the car.

Yep, reprogramming is trivial, and the same for all 850s. Just get yourself a remote and you are good to go.

@EstVolvo: best advice for this thread yet, too bad no one thought of that right away.

Hello there,

When you get the key made, get 9 more spares :-)

I wonder too if everyone makes keys for my car too, if you bring the old key in. It's a more complex key than i am used to seeing because it is more 3d than the keys i have had in the past. Lucky it's not one of those electronic ones, i hate those.
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.
