simon has a 760 turbo to which he fitted a Detection Techniques Ltd turbo mod and chip. He now owns a 850 T5 turbo and needs to identify the tube he needs to cut to fit the wastegate adjuster, simon is a speed freak

Simon, not sure exactly what you're asking but maybe the link below will help you understand which turbo you have:

Most all of the 850 and first year S70 (if not all) have Mitsubishi turbo's. I assume your '97 850 has the same T16 turbo as my '98 S70...with a straight flange....hope this info helps.

For more specific information about mods to the turbo and wastegate itself, I would look at www.volvospeed.com website and click into their message board or forum.
