Where is the ignition module located on a 1993 Volvo 850?
Is it easy to install yourself and where can I find some good installation instructions?
Thanks for the help.....I found myself laughing at myself as I read others talking about how they had replaced everything and they finally found that it was the ignition module.

the module is located on the driverside fender well mounted with the coil. if you have a no spark condition replace the cam sensor first. it generates the master control signal for the vehicle. hope this helps

that sounds like the cam sensor, but with the age of your volvo, the fuel pump relay may be getting tired. we lose one of them once in a while on the older volvos. also if memory serves me correctly, there is a yellow relay rated at 40 amps under the top cover of the radiator that is the master system relay for 93's and 94's the one on my wife's 94 went intermittant and would cause a similar condition. find the fan control relay and look to your right. it should be there. welcome to my world of 30 years of experience and educated guessing
