Haldex filter & fluid

I planned on changing 3 of the drive-line fluids yesterday, but only did the differential and bevel gear fluid. I'm the 2nd owner of a 2006 V70R with 86,000 miles, I believe this is the first change of fluids. Anyhow, did not realize how difficult that it's a bear to get at the Haldex filter...what tool/technique are people using to get it off? And when it's off, do you suction any fluid out of it? Is it a good idea to remove the Haldex pump and clean it and the screen? Should I just go ahead and change the fluid and have a shop change the filter? Or is it necessary to do the filter & fluid at the same time.

Also, with the differential fluid, it seemed low, removed just under .4 liters and pumped in about .8 liters. Pumped (using 150 ml syringe with PVC hose attached) fluid in until it seeped out and installed plug with new copper crush washer. I'm assuming that's the correct fill level/procedure for the 3 fluids? Any specific torque specs on these fill plugs?

You need to suck some fluid out, or it will find its ways to escape.

Haldex pump is about to go, they don't last longer than 10-12 years. Not so hard to replace, but you need to unhook exhaust from all mounts, let it lay on the ground (car should be on ramps or stands, not on the lift), unbolt driveshaft's carriage bearing, unbolt it from AOC flange and remove flange as well. Then the pump and filter will easily accessible.

How much fluid do you suggest to remove? Just the differential or both bevel gear and differential? Is it critical? Rather not get back under the car for a bit.

Get a pan ready- when my mechanic did this, he said when he got the AOC loose the fluid about shot him in the eye!! He also said, a bent torx driver helped him- otherwise, I don't know the details. Same system though in my '07 S40. Oh, and be careful- the AOC and differential fluid nuts are right next to each other- easy to confuse.
