Cowl Removal: Step by Step ?

Can anyone point me to a diagram, video or share the process of removing the big plastic cowl that sits at the base of the windshield?

I'm trying to track down a slight water leak in the right footwell ... we've confirmed all drains are clear (sunroof, a-pillar, a/c, etc.) ... but I've been reading about the "rain cap" that sits under pax side of the cowl, designed to redirect water so it does not get into the cabin air inlet. I'm working all possibilities and this is next on the hit list.

There are 4 or six round plastic fasteners. Push the center pin down until it falls - keep a plastic bag underneath to catch it. If the wiper arms need removed, remove the nut then use a small puller to pull the arm. I'm not sure they will came off without a puller.

I'm also looking for this info, and for the same reason.
I've already removed the 4 caps, as well as the windshield wiper blades and the nuts that secure them. However on each corner of the windscreen cowl there are two caps that pin the corners in. It doesn't look like they have the center pin to push in but are actually supposed to be pulled out. But I'd like to keep from breaking anything in case that's not the way to do it....
Can someone share what to do with those corners to pull them up safely?

EDIT: the 2x plastic bits on each corner do just pull right out and then the cowl slides down to unclip off the windshield. I took pictures and videos that I will be posting later.

Man, that wasn’t their best video was it? I’m sleepless in LA this morning and thought I would educate myself on CEM REMOVAL but the guy didn’t show any detail on fasteners, just yapped while he worked

About 10 stills would do a better job on this
