2008 FWD brake pad replacement.

My friend has a 2008 V70 FWD and we are going to replace front brake pads. We will leave the rears to dealer in view of electronic parking brake, though I have read there are ways around that. Is there a DIY for the fronts, any different from any other brake pad job? Thanks, usually post on the 850 forum. The more detailed response the better.

hi fronts pads are not any different to 98% of any other cars

You can get an all data subscription for about $6 per year, if you buy 3-5 years up front and think you will keep the car that long. Good DIYs you access on web - so no computer compatability worries.
