Did compression test. 150-140 psi. I wonder if the turbo is blown. Its not nearly as quick as it used to be. And the more throttle I give it, the more smoke comes out.

It might be time to talk to a turbo repair shop and ask their advice.

Haven't checked codes yet. But did do vent check and a glove over oil fill cap will still fill with air and smoke comes out of dipstick. If pcv system is clean do I need to take off the pan and see if it's clogged in there? I'm broke, busy, and tired. Need this car to stay running.

At least you found the right place to find help with keeping the car running without throwing thousands of bucks on shops and mechanics. :)
Are you sure the PCV hoses are routed correctly? Codes would be the next step in any case, but Neil is probably right - might be time to take a look at that turbo.

Explains all. Your are burning oil from excess crank pressure. The turbos on these cars rarely fail. They are amazing.

I would drop the pan and check the gallery port or try cleaning it with the " ram the tube in" method without dropping the pan

No doubt true, but what about the white smoke OP reports? I'd think that was water - or coolant, rather? Wouldn't it be bluer if it was mostly oil?

Sorry for late replies. I'm grateful for this site. Code is 0103 which I found is a maf code. Will try cleaning sensor this weekend. I'll do the ram method this weekend too. Gonna pull engine apart again. And yes the pcv hoses are all correctly hooked up. I Double check things before I put stuff back together. I love working on cars and this was a much easier job than I thought it would be.
You guys kick ass! Thanx.

It's a MAF code with about a 33% chance of the MAF being the fault. Codes guide you in diagnosis, but they don't tell you the bad part very often

Cleaned maf with spray and no change. Have turbo exposed now and it moves fine with a flick of the finger. Next I'm gonna try" ram the tube in" method at block ports of pcv holes in lower block. Change oil. Hope for a damn miracle.
